Renovation FAQs
-
We work predominantly in Greenville and the surrounding area, including Downtown, North Main, Overbrook, Augusta St. Area, Greer, Taylors, Simpsonville, Five Forks, and Travelers Rest. For the right job we can travel up to 1 hour outside of Greenville.
-
We are a full-service, turnkey contractor specializing in large-scale renovations and additions. This means that we handle everything for you - the design (although we do regularly build off of outside architectural plans), interior design, and construction management of all our projects. While we do take on single space projects, our typical projects are integrating multiple spaces, whole home remodels, or additions.
-
Each process includes three stages: design, preconstruction, and construction. The design phase focuses on lot planning, formal drawings, and budgets. Preconstruction focuses on formal selections (cabinetry, fixtures, finishes, etc.) and setting the production schedule. Construction is the execution of the design and preconstruction phases, bringing your vision to life!
-
The first step in our process is either a complimentary introductory call to discuss goals, general design, and confirm budgets. We also offer a Preconstruction Consultation for those interested in putting together preliminary budgets and sketches for planning purposes.
-
This varies project to project depending on the scope. The design phase of a project can take anywhere from 2 weeks to 3 months. Once completed, the preconstruction phase typically lasts at a minimum 6-8 weeks, while all fixtures, finishes, and selections are being confirmed, ordered, and warehoused. At a minimum, the construction phase of a project we tackle is two months. Typically, our projects take anywhere from 4-8 months from demolition to hand off.
-
This varies from project to project and depends on the size, complexity, and desired finishes. We encourage all potential clients to schedule a preliminary call or meeting with us to discuss their budgets before pursuing formal plans. Typically, we can provide an accurate ballpark for their project based on past projects of similar scope, knowledge of subcontractor costs, and general material costs.

We are an Approved Professional Builder of the HBA of Greenville, and, thus, warranty all labor, materials, and equipment furnished on the project for a minimum of one year against defects in workmanship or materials provided. In instances over one year, the manufacturer’s warranty will prevail. All structural work or work affecting the structural integrity will be subject to the extended-term responsibility of the subcontractor that matches the state’s structural liability terms.
